The holiday cottage by Lake Vättern – for peace, nature and activities around Askersund, Tiveden and Omberg
Our cottage Lillahuset is located in Harge in Askersund municipality, by Vättern’s beautiful northern archipelago. The water is only 200 meters away, and one kilometer away is Hargebaden’s bathing area and restaurant. From here, bike-friendly dirt roads lead on to popular hiking trails out towards Vänneviken and Harge Uddar, with miles-long views of Storvättern. A little further away, the fairytale-like Tiveden spreads out with its mythical Krogen i skogen – The Restuarant in the woods.
The central town of Askersund has all the amenities of a small town – shops, cafés and restaurants. Don’t miss to grab a local fish dish at Ante’s down by the harbour, and a little further away you’ll find another gem: The Tavern That Doesn’t Exist.
